DALLAS RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK: Whisk Crepes Cafe
When I think of France, one of the first things I think of are all the crepes I used to buy off the street. They were simple, crispy, and usually just a delicious, filling snack or dessert. I have found all that and more in Whisk. Whisk has taken the concept of a crepe and sprinkled creativity all over it. Along with making it way more filling than the ones on the Parisian streets! Also a great restaurant to celebrate with on Happy International Crepe Day!
What to Order:
- Nutella and Strawberry Crepe
- Shakshuka – one of my favorite breakfast dishes turned into a crepe? Yes all around! This is made with Israeli style tomato sauce, sunny side up egg, mozzarella, feta cheese, and Harissa cream
- Hen of the Woods – smoked turkey with mushroom, mozzarella, tomato, and pesto
Serving:
- Crepes – savory and sweet
Highlights:
- Brunch Menu – Weekends 8AM-4PM
- Wednesday Happy Hour – ½ off French wine, $3 mimosas
